Directed and produced by Caroline Keith, the documentary film Marion interweaves archival footage, stills and interviews to tell the heartfelt story of Marion's life, sharing memories and lessons with a new generation and preserving them for ones to come.

Marion was directed and produced by Caroline Keith; executive producer, Lauren Williams; edited by John Paul Lorie; director of photography Luis Felipe Marrou.

THE FACTS

In May 0f 1933, Marion Floyd Williams was born into a family rooted in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Only two years after his birth, his mother passed. With Marion's father taking a new wife, he was cast to the side and passed around from rooming houses to other family members picking up life lessons along his travels. At 18, he finds independence through his time serving in the Navy.

 

But, when Marion meets the love of his life, Anna Byrd Coleman, life takes a turn for the better; he now has a purpose in life to be a husband and provider for his newly started family.
